Seasonal Employment - Aquatics Opportunities

Every swimming pool season, Council employs between 40-50 people across a variety of aquatics roles to work at our pools in Alexandra, Eildon, Marysville and Yea.

We generally recruit for the following seasonal roles:

  • Assistant Aquatic Operations and Facility Supervisor
  • Duty Manger
  • Lifeguard

All staff are required to hold the following qualifications prior to commencing work:

  • HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
  • SISSS00133 Pool Lifeguard (which includes HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation)

If you do not already have these qualifications, group courses will be organised by Council (at a cost to you), or you are welcome to source your own.

First Aid courses are available locally at The Hub

Lifeguard courses are available through Life Saving Victoria
