Coordinator Governance & Integrity - Band 7 plus 11% superannuation

Reporting to the Manager Governance & Risk, the Coordinator Integrity & Governance plays an integral role in ensuring sound governance and integrity systems are operating effectively and efficiently across Council’s operations and embedded into corporate processes and service delivery.

The Coordinator Integrity & Governance provides expert advice and leads the development and implementation of governance and integrity strategies, policies, systems and procedures to support corporate objectives, meet legislative requirements, manage risk and promote a culture of ethical and transparent decision making and business practice.

Resource Recovery Centre Operator - Kinglake - Band 2 plus 11% superannuation

Council has an exciting opportunity to join our Resource Recovery team as the primary operator of the Kinglake Resource Recovery Centre. This role plays a significant part in Council’s commitment to make a difference to our environment by contributing to the effective operation of our Resource Recovery Centres (RRC). The RRC Operator will support initiatives that aim to increase the recovery of reusable / recyclable materials and, in turn, reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.

Strategic Planner - Band 6-8 (depending on experience) plus 11% superannuation

Council is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Strategic Planner to join our small professional team. This position will support our planning and development teams within the Community and Development Group.

You will actively contribute to strategic planning projects, policy review and implementation, planning amendments and process improvements. You will be able to demonstrate excellent industry knowledge and experience working in Local Government, with a focus on quality outcomes and excellent customer service.

As a key member of the team, this position will focus on ensuring the Murrindindi Planning Scheme and associated policy is up to date and effective in achieving land use outcomes consistent with the Council Plan objectives.
