Our Swimming Pools
Murrindindi Shire Council operates four swimming pools across the Shire.
Pool entry for residents and visitors is free for the 2024/25 swimming pool season, which starts on Saturday 16 November 2024 and closes Monday 10 March 2025.
Pools will open when the temperature forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology is:
- 23 degrees or above for Alexandra, Eildon or Yea
- 21 degrees or above for Marysville.
Pools will open for morning lap swimming and school/swim club bookings regardless of the forecast.
The decision to remain open is at the discretion of the Operations Officer and will depend on air temperature and patron numbers. Private bookings, such as swimming clubs, may use the pools outside of indicated opening hours. Pools will be open for morning lap swimming and school/swim club bookings regardless of the forecast.
