Pet registration and ownership

All cats and dogs in Murrindindi Shire over three months of age must be registered. Your pet registration covers a one year period and must be renewed each year.

If your pet is registered with Council, you need to let us know if any of your registration details change.

Apply for extra animals on your land

If you own mutiple pets or farm animals, you need to meet certain requirements and may need to apply for an Additional Animal Permit.
