Become a Library Member

Murrindindi Library Service offers free membership to all Victorian residents, providing access to a wide range of books, DVDs, CDs, eBooks, and eAudiobooks.

Benefits for all members include:

  • Borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks
  • Download eMagazines
  • Stream/download digital music
  • Unlimited streaming of documentaries and indie films
  • Access online video tutorials
  • Learn languages and tech skills
  • Play educational games
  • Use the library catalogue for quick searches
  • Access internet-connected PCs and printing/photocopying services (for a fee)
  • Free WiFi at all branches
  • Attend events like author talks, workshops, and more

We have different membership types available, including Full Membership and Digital Membership.

Become a Library Member

Full Membership

Step 1.Visit your nearest library

Visit one of our library locations across the Shire, including our Mobile Library.

Step 2.Complete the form

Complete our Library Membership Application Form in person at one of our libraries.

Step 3.Receive your membership card

Receive your membership card immediately.

A full membership allows you to:

  • borrow up to 30 items for three weeks (four weeks with the Mobile Library)
  • renew items online, in-branch or by phone (auto-renewal up to two times)
  • no late fees
  • request up to 10 items for collection at your preferred branch

 

Digital Membership

Step 1.Complete the online form

Complete our Library Membership Application Form online to set up your Digital Membership.

Apply for a Digital Membership

Step 2.Access online resources

One you apply, you will immediately be able to login and access eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and more through your Digital Membership.

You can upgrade to a Full Membership at any time by visiting one of our libraries and bringing your photo ID with you.

Update your membership information

To update your membership details, including address or phone number, visit us in person (make sure you bring photo ID). For email, username or PIN changes, register your card on the Yarra Plenty Regional Library website and go to My Account Settings.
