Drainage upgrade works are taking place on Duke Street in Yea, starting Wednesday 13 November.
Most of the work will take place within property drainage easements; however, one trenched road crossing will be necessary between the road reserves in front of 5 and 8 Duke Street, Yea. This upgrade aims to improve the area’s overall drainage capacity and functionality.
The funding for these drainage works is provided by the Australian Government under Round 4 of the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) grant program.
During this period, there may be minor traffic disruptions along Duke Street, including limited closures to through access. However, access to all properties will be maintained from at least one end of Duke Street at all times. The contractor will take all necessary steps to minimise any inconvenience.
