Dindi FReeZA Committee
Dindi FReeZA Committee is an opportunity for young people aged 12 - 25 years who live, work, play and/or study in Murrindindi Shire to volunteer in the planning and delivery of FReeZA events and programs.
About FReeZA
FReeZA is a Victorian Government initiative that gives young Victorians the opportunity to lead the planning and staging of live music and cultural events in their community.
There are many FReeZA events and programs that are run across Murrindindi Shire each year. Some include:
- Pool parties
- Recreation events (e.g. skate days)
- Diversity events
- Training (e.g. Event Management Training)
About the Dindi FReeZA Committee
This volunteer opportunity will empower young people to develop and deliver up to six music, arts and culture-based events and programs within Murrindindi Shire. Committee Membership provides the opportunity for young people to gain valuable hands-on skills and knowledge as well as valuable volunteer experience and networking.
The Dindi FReeZA Committee is free to join, and training will be provided free of charge to members. You are welcome to stay for just one event or for the whole year.
Some activities you may choose to engage in include:
- Research the interests of Murrindindi Shire young people and build a plan for events across 2024.
- Plan and deliver up to six FReeZA events across 2024.
- Attend monthly meetings (meeting may increase to fortnightly or weekly leading up to an event).
- Training to help understand event management and delivery.
- Active involvement in an inclusive and supportive group and regular meetings.

Opportunity Overview and Objective
