Water testing of swimming pools and spas
Council takes water samples from public pools and spas to ensure they comply with health regulations.
Water testing is compulsory for a public swimming pools and spas. Test results are recorded in a logbook which must be kept on the premises and made available for inspection at all times. Both the PH level and chlorine and/or bromine levels, must be measured within 30 minutes before pools and spas are opened for public use.
