As part of Victoria’s statewide waste and recycling reform, Murrindindi Shire Council is introducing a four-bin kerbside collection service to help improve how we recycle in our community.
Businesses and commercial operators in Murrindindi Shire will have the option to receive some or all of the services depending on your needs.
Shortly, you’ll receive a new purple-lidded bin for glass bottles and jars.
Businesses without on-site residences can choose to opt out of all kerbside services or select from the following options:
- Standard three-bin service (general rubbish, mixed recycling, glass recycling)
- Standard four-bin service (general rubbish, mixed recycling, glass recycling and food and garden organics)
- Either option with additional bins as needed (additional costs apply)
Opting out removes all charges from your rates. Adding services incurs charges only for the bins in use.
