The Eildon Shopping Precinct Irrigation and Landscaping Project is a two-part project funded through the Australian Government's Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program - Round Three, to improve and beautify Eildon's main shopping area.
The first phase of the project involved the repair and upgrade of the irrigation infrastructure around the shopping precinct. This work was completed in 2023.
The second phase of the project includes the construction and planting of new garden beds to beautify the area as well as new bike stands, seating and drainage upgrades to improve the amenity of the site.
Construction and planting of new garden beds will take place across the last week of June (Monday 24 to Friday 28 June), weather permitting. Additional works to the amenity of the area will take place over the following weeks.
These works will not prevent access the Eildon shops or impact local businesses operations and will only cause isolated disruption to parking, when equipment and material are delivered. We thank you for your patience while these works are carried out.
