VicEmergency App Training Session at Kinglake Library
Next date: Saturday, 08 March 2025 | 12:00 PM
to 01:00 PM
Curious about how to get crucial emergency updates on the VicEmergency App without being a tech expert? Council is partnering with Emergency Management Victoria (EMV) to bring VicEmergency App Training Sessions to your local library. Here, EMV representatives will show you how easy it is to use the app to stay informed and safe during emergencies. Don’t miss out on this chance to learn and feel confident using this vital tool.
The VicEmergency app provides Victorians with reliable emergency information, including warnings and updates for fires, floods, storms and earthquakes. For more information about the app and how to access it, visit How residents can prepare for fire.
RSVP's are essential as light refreshments will be provided. For more information and to reserve your spot, please visit the form below, call Council on (03) 5772 0333 or drop-in to one of our Library and Customer Service Centres.

Everyone needs to be emergency prepared. We welcome people of all ages and tech-literacy to these sessions. If you know someone who might benefit from these sessions, please share this information with them.
Even if you can’t make it to these sessions, Council recommends all residents drop-in to your local library for EMV resources.
Murrindindi Shire Council is pleased to advise that funding for these sessions is made possible by the Commonwealth and Victorian Governments under the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
