Learn how to identify our frogs!
Council and the Australian Museum are hosting an in-person and online webinar, covering the FrogID Project, why frogs matter, local frog species, and how to get involved in FrogID Week (8 - 17 November).
There will be an online webinar, however we encourage you to attend your nearest in-person talk, as it will be followed by a walk to discover frogs in the wild.
On Monday 11 November, from 6.00 to 8.00 pm, we will be hosting a webinar and Q&A session at three locations:
There will be a 45-minute webinar with Nadiah Roslan from the Australian Museum, and for those attending in-person, it will be followed by an excursion to find local frogs and use the FrogID App.
Light Refreshments will be provided if you attend in person.

Ms Nadiah Roslan I am a biologist from Australia’s bush capital, Canberra, with experience in coordinating projects on climate change biology and phenology for the research and not-for-profit sector. I previously studied a Bachelor of Science (Zoology) at the Australian National University, and a Master of Science (Tropical Marine Ecology) at James Cook University. Since joining the Australian Museum Herpetology team in 2020, I have had the pleasure of working as the Project Coordinator of FrogID, a national citizen science project that is informing frog conservation by recording their calls with the FrogID app. When not at work, I spend a lot of my time hiking, birdwatching, rock climbing, and listening out for frog calls!
