Attracting Birds and Pollinators to Your Garden Talk with Dr Gregory Moore OAM.

Are you interested in transforming your garden naturally with the help of birds and bees? To celebrate National Tree Day this July, come along to the Yea Shire Hall and listen to a talk from Dr Gregory Moore OAM, a well-known presenter from ABC radio.

There will be fun activities and crafts for kids, a FREE tree/shrub giveaway and we’re also running a ‘longest gum leaf’ competition, so rug up, get out in nature and go on the hunt for the longest gum leaf you can find, and bring it along to the event. The winner will be announced on the evening, with prizes for both kids and adults.

Light refreshments will be provided.

National Tree Day is Sunday 28 July, let's all plant a tree! Visit the Planet Ark website to find an event near you.

Longest Leaf Competition

Visit one of our libraries and bring the longest gum leaf you can find. Entries close 15 July. Winners will be announced at the National Tree Day Talk. There will be a separate competition on the night of the event as well, so bring along another gum leaf!
