Murrindindi Shire Council is inviting all community members to be part of a BIG conversation this February. This is your chance to share your aspirations and BIG ideas for our community’s future and help us prepare a new Council Plan for the next four years. The Council Plan sets the strategic direction for Council for the next four years, and your thoughts are key to informing this direction.

So far, in 2024, you’ve provided valuable feedback on our progress with the 2021-2025 Council Plan, highlighting the projects and activities that matter most to you. Now, we want to take a deeper dive into your priorities and set bold goals and directions for the new Council.

We invite you to attend one of our community conversations, where you can enjoy a light meal while connecting with other community members, Councillors and Council officers. This is an opportunity to share your ideas and help us deepen our understanding of key priorities.

Murrindindi Shire Council Mayor Damien Gallagher said he was thrilled to invite the community to join these important conversations.

“A Council Plan is a four-year strategic document developed by Council in collaboration with our community. It guides our work and sets the direction and priorities over the next four years. Our community’s insights and ideas are crucial in shaping the future of Murrindindi Shire. To guide these big conversations, we’re going to be asking you some big questions about your aspirations for the community, and how we can work together to achieve our ambitious goals. I encourage everyone to participate and make their voices heard. Everyone’s input is valued.”
