Bridge abutment and decking repair works have been completed on Abes Bridge, Molesworth and Weeding Bridge, Fawcett over January and February.
Bridge abutment repair works for Abes Bridge in Molesworth involved installation of new concrete sleeper and steel upright retaining walls to support the road on both approaches to the bridge.
Bridge abutment and decking repair works for Weeding Bridge in Fawcett involved replacement of existing timber retaining walls with concrete sleeper and steel upright retaining walls, and renewal of the timber decking.
We thank the community for their patience while these bridges were closed, and works were carried out.
