ANZAC Day Services 2025

The following services will be held across Murrindindi Shire to commemorate ANZAC Day on Friday 25 April 2025.

Thursday 24 April

Kellock Lodge
Private service for residents at 10.30 am.

Friday 25 April

Alexandra
Dawn service at 6.00 am at Leckie Park Memorial.

Assemble at 10.45 am at the RSL Hall for a march to Leckie Park Memorial, Vickery Street for 11.00 am service.

Eildon
Private service at 10.40 am for residents of Darlingford Nursing Home.

Assemble at 10.40 am for 11.00 am service at Cenotaph, Utah Place.

Flowerdale
Assemble at 10.45 am for 11.00 am service at Flowerdale Community Hall, 3380 Yea-Whittlesea Road, Flowerdale. Refreshments to follow.

Glenburn
Assemble at 5.45 am for 6.00 am dawn service at Glenburn Community Centre (opposite the Glenburn Hall, 3876 Melba Hwy, Glenburn). Breakfast to follow.

Kinglake
Dawn service at 5.30 am, followed by traditional gunfire breakfast at St Peter’s Community WW1 Memorial Church, Kinglake.

Service at 10.00 am at the Lions Club ANZAC Memorial, Kinglake Community Centre, 436 Whittlesea-Kinglake Road, Kinglake (entry via Extons Road).

Marysville
Assemble at 10.15 am at corner Murchison Street and Lyell Street for a march at 10.40 am to the Marysville Cenotaph for 11.00 am service.

Strath Creek
Assemble at 8.45 am for 9.00 am service at Strath Creek Pioneer Reserve Memorial, Glover Street, Strath Creek.

Yarck
Wreath laying service at 11.00 am at the Yarck War Memorial, 6592 Maroondah Hwy, Yarck.

Yea
Private service at 9:45 am at Yea Memorial Hospital for Rosebank Nursing Home residents and family.

Assemble at 10.45 am at the Yea Cenotaph for 11.00 am service.
