Variety
Murrindindi Shire is situated on Melbourne's peri-urban fringe and encompasses the charming rural townships of Alexandra, Eildon, Kinglake, Marysville and Yea. The Shire benefits from great natural beauty and tourist attractions such as Lake Eildon, picturesque national parks, the Great Victorian Rail Trail and access to Victoria's snowfields. We are located within proximity to Melbourne, a lovely 60 to 90 minute drive from Melbourne, depending on your route.
We have Council Offices in Alexandra, Yea and Kinglake to improve accessibility to our community.

Murrindindi Shire Council provides a diverse range of services to the community. Our roles vary to include both indoor and outdoor roles from administrative, engineering, planning, parks and gardens, maintenance, resource recovery centres, community engagement and management opportunities. This is achieved through flexible working options including compressed hours, job sharing, part-time working and other flexible work settings up to 50% of the week.
