Council's Advocacy Policy provides direction and guidance for Council's advocacy efforts, ensuring Council works in partnership with the community to influence public policy and resource allocation for the benefit of Murrindindi Shire.

The purpose of the Borrowings Policy is to define the objectives of borrowing funds, establish the principles that outline when it is appropriate for Council to undertake borrowings and set out the matter by which Council may establish and manage a debt portfolio.

The purpose of this Policy is to set the strategic objectives for Council to achieve net zero emissions by 2035. It further guides how Council can work in partnership with the community so that Murrindindi Shire may also endeavour to reach net zero by 2035.
