Council's Advocacy Policy provides direction and guidance for Council's advocacy efforts, ensuring Council works in partnership with the community to influence public policy and resource allocation for the benefit of Murrindindi Shire.

This Policy provides guidance on the responsible and ethical use of generative Artificial Intelligence to support best practice in the delivery of Council services.

Our Arts and Culture Policy provides a framework for the support and delivery of arts and cultural services into the future and describes
Council’s supporting role in arts and culture activities and initiatives.

This Policy provides a systematic, transparent and accountable method for the disposal of Council-owned assets in accordance with Council policies and all appropriate legislation and accounting standards.

This Policy guides the future management of all Council assets to meet community needs within financial and other practical constraints.

The Charter sets out Council's Audit and Risk Committee’s purpose, authority, composition and tenure, responsibilities, reporting, administrative, and governance arrangements.

The purpose of the Borrowings Policy is to define the objectives of borrowing funds, establish the principles that outline when it is appropriate for Council to undertake borrowings and set out the matter by which Council may establish and manage a debt portfolio.

Murrindindi Shire Council’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Employment and Remuneration Policy sets out Council’s approach to managing CEO performance and remuneration in accordance with Section 45 of the Local Government Act 2020.

This Policy outlines Council’s commitment to create and maintain a child safe organisation, and to promote the safety of children and young people throughout Council and the community. This includes ensuring that protecting children and preventing and responding to child abuse is embedded in everyday practice.

The purpose of this Policy is to set the strategic objectives for Council to achieve net zero emissions by 2035. It further guides how Council can work in partnership with the community so that Murrindindi Shire may also endeavour to reach net zero by 2035.
