Alexandra & District Dog Obedience Club Inc

Alexandra & District Dog Obedience Club Inc was established in 1991.

All dogs must be vaccinated with C5 and a committee member must sight the current vaccination certificate before training can commence on Sunday. 

Classes start with a 7 week course. Kinder Babies (dogs under 12 months) and Kinder Beginners (over 12 months).

Handlers and dogs can then move on to the 21 week Family Companion course. This course is broken into 3 levels, each one running for 7 weeks. Then they can graduate into Level 4 and Level 5.

As well as providing general obedience, we instruct rally obedience and some agility. We can also help with tracking and retrieving and we run 'in-house' workshops which will get you started in other dog sports. 

A few members show their dogs, so we can also give tips on getting the best out of your dog in the show ring.

We do small demonstrations at local Agricultural Shows, Yea Market and have given small talks and demonstrations to the local CWA and Menzies Centre.

Membership Information:

Our Committee and Instructors are all volunteers, which helps keep class costs down to only $3.

Single membership is $15, Dual membership is $20.  We are fully insured for Public Liability.

Classes are held each Sunday morning in Alexandra - please contact Jeanne on 0456 583 611 for location and any pre-class requirements.

Classes are not held on Public Holidays, Total Fire Ban days or between December and January each year.
