Recovery Plans

Community Recovery Plan

The Community Recovery Plan has been developed by Council in partnership with health and support services and local community organisations. Community groups and individuals also provided valuable input through our online community consultation session.

The Plan speaks to the key impacts of COVID-19 on the community, including social isolation and connection, mental health, financial stress and food security. It also provides a range of actions that will support our community and our local groups and clubs to make it through this difficult time.

Business Recovery Plan

Council has developed a COVID-19 Business Recovery Plan for Murrindindi Shire. The Plan has been developed with support from Council's Business Advisory Committee, made up of representatives from Local Business and Tourism Associations across the Shire, as well as independent business representatives. Input gathered from Council's Business Forum Workshops on 21 May and  10 August has also been used in the development of the Plan.

The Plan outlines the impact of COVID-19 on the local economy and includes a three phase approach to support businesses during the pandemic, through the recovery and into the future.
