Funding Boost to Support Farm Forestry Innovation in Murrindindi

Murrindindi Shire Council welcomes the announcement of $130,000 in Victorian Government funding to support the work of the Farm Forestry Innovation Working Group, part of Council’s broader Shaping Murrindindi’s Future program. Council auspiced the funding application on behalf of the community-led Innovation Working Group.

Let's make our community safer and more pet-friendly

Council is updating its Domestic Animal Management Plan (DAMP) for 2026-29. It will guide how we support pet owners, enforce animal regulations, and promote responsible pet ownership over the next four years. During this process Council will also be seeking your feedback on cat confinement, mandatory cat desexing and dog off-lead areas within the municipality.
